MALABAR
The company was founded by Peter Sterck who was struck by the beauty and variety of the fabrics being made in Kerala, in south west India. For twenty years, he has worked closely with the weaving co-operatives in the area, whose spinners, dyers and weavers use their time honoured skills handed down from generation to generation to create Malabar’s inspirational and distinctive fabrics for use in interiors around the world today.
The full Malabar collection can also be viewed at the showroom in London, just south of the River Thames at Vauxhall. Sloan Miyasato San Francisco has the entire collection and memo sample services as well. FOB NJ.
